MetroWest CleanGear is pleased to offer the new line of Esporta
cleaning agents.
This leading combination of cleaning
detergents provides a powerful complement to the four-stage
process of the Esporta wash system.
These exclusive enzyme based soaps have low foaming
surfactants and anti- soil redeposition agents that help
prevent soils from returning to the equipment. Our enzyme
fighting stain remover helps eliminate blood, proteins,
grass and other organic contaminants from the items being
cleaned.
The low alkaline formula is compatible for leather and
fabric dyes and helps preserve the integrity of the tough
articles to clean like gloves and skates.
Stage 1: TAK1 Detergent
This enzyme based detergent
breaks down organic compounds and odor causing
contaminants inside the equipment. This first wash on the
equipment helps to eliminate the awful smell
associated with dirty sports equipment.
Stage 2: Penetrator Detergent
This powerful detergent is
designed to work deep into the foam and fabrics of the
protective gear breaking down stains and foreign bodies
like mucus, blood, sweat, dander, fungus, bacteria and
mold that is common place in equipment. The low
temperature and neutral PH of the detergent is
specifically formulated to work with the Esporta System.
Stage 3: Force
Additives
This is our disinfectant that works on potentially harmful
agents in the equipment like bacteria, mold and fungus.
The purpose of stage 3 is to eliminate any and all of
these contaminates to prevent players from being exposed
to agents that can be hazardous to their health.
Bacterial
rash and fungal infections are just a few of the more
common problems seen from wearing unclean protective gear.
Our new Force Additive has achieved a complete reduction
of fecal coli form present in testing of sports equipment
prior to our wash.
It is this bacteria, fungus and mold that causes the
unbearable stench of the filthy sports equipment. These
organisms are also responsible for the break down and rot
of foam, leather and fabric used in the construction of
the gear.
Stage 4:
Signature Additive
This final fragrance is added to the last rinse of the
process to compliment the cleaned equipment with a clean
and fresh scent. This signifies that the equipment has
completed our sophisticated cleaning process and is ready
for the customer and their next use.

MetroWest CleanGear also utilizes these
other fine Esporta cleansing products.
Dry
Barrier Wash
DBW is a revolutionary product that
treats the athletic jerseys and other garments with a specially formulated
polymer that penetrates into the very fibers of the
garment. Added during wash cycle, this treatment bonds to the fabric providing
a fluid repellent barrier for the player. Once treated
the jerseys stay cleaner, lighter and last longer.
This protective barrier reduces markings from
puck, tape, grass, dirt, blood
and other stains ground into the jerseys. Sweat and
water do not soak into the fabric. With regular
cleaning, the jerseys look great and last longer.
MetroWest CleanGear also sells new team jerseys. We
include a DBW on each new jersey. Ask us how a DBW can
protect your investment.
